Very spacious. Huge table and plenty of seating in the kitchen.
Large lounge with 3 sofas.
Beds were very comfortable and good size rooms.
Great location for exploring the Peak District.
Few cleaning issues.
Knobs of cooker greasy, kitchen floor dirty, dirty pans in the cupboard.
Black mould in the en-suite bathroom and room felt damp.

Very spacious and comfortable - ideal for a family get together
Short term issue and completely out of the property owner’s control, but the current roadworks in front of the property make access a little tricky and increase noise (from early morning)

Lovely, airy, spacious house, in a beautiful setting. Easy walking distance to bird cafe, garden centre with a coffee shop, and the Friday pizza truck! Hathersage even put on a carnival, haha! Reminiscent of my grandparents' house nearby, so an extra homely feel. There were even books and games available.
Have mentioned to the owners that tea, coffee, and sugar would be a welcome addition. Bins were all full outside, but owners have explained that they are exploring alternatives to the current 2 week uplift.

Well sized property with 2 very generous king sized bedrooms and very comfy beds. Excellent kitchen table, and good proportioned rooms.
The property is tired and in need of a good deep clean and some attention to most areas to bring it up to a reasonable level that we would expect from a holiday rental.
The photos on the site are deceptive for the garden areas. Kitchen window is misted up. Gardens need some TLC. Dust and cobwebs particularly in the bunk bedrooms. Tv remote in lounge batteries were dead. Tv in bed room didn’t work.
Worth noting that the train line is just behind the property.
