Very spacious. Huge table and plenty of seating in the kitchen.
Large lounge with 3 sofas.
Beds were very comfortable and good size rooms.
Great location for exploring the Peak District.
Few cleaning issues.
Knobs of cooker greasy, kitchen floor dirty, dirty pans in the cupboard.
Black mould in the en-suite bathroom and room felt damp.

Very spacious and comfortable - ideal for a family get together
Short term issue and completely out of the property owner’s control, but the current roadworks in front of the property make access a little tricky and increase noise (from early morning)

The location was very good. We could plan plenty of great walks directly from the house. Having a Nisa shop and a garden centre cafe so close by was very convenient too.
Upon arrival, we discovered an active wasp nest just outside the living room window. Although the owners were aware of the issue and it was supposedly treated, we unfortunately had 15 to 20 wasps entering the living room every day. As a result, we were unable to fully relax or feel comfortable in the living space at any point during our stay. Furthermore, the property overall felt quite tired, and the standard of cleanliness could have been better
