We stayed at this home for a week in March 2026. The property is beautiful. It was very clean, had everything you might need, the pool was gorgeous, and it was very private. We had a lovely stay here just relaxing, listening to the many birds, and seeing the occasional monkey. There is hiking and sight seeing inside the gated area if you don’t want to venture too far. Just up the road is a great pizza place high on the mountain that is highly recommended!The neighborhood is a little challenging to get around so play attention to the directions that Jacqueline provides! She also gave us some recommendations for a grocery to go to before arriving at the property. Highly recommended since it is a bit of a drive to get there. I also recommend having a car that is a little more high powered than a little Kia sedan which is what we rented. It did fine but it would have been better to have a bigger car.if you are looking for a private getaway high in the mountains with beautiful views all the way to the Pacific, I highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful time.

The Host (Jackie) is FANTASTIC, super professional, kind, very responsive and helpful. She was at the property when we arrived and gave us a warm welcome and showed us around and provided important info to make our stay smooth.
The GPS will tell you, you arrived but in reality you have to drive up just a little bit more for 1 minute (up a hill) and you will get to the house (don't get scared when you see the house where the GPS ends, your house is much nicer than the one where the GPS ends).
The property is VERY well kept, the kitchen is fully stocked with general things anyone would need to cook and even some spices and other miscellaneous things left behind by prior visitors. The layout of the house is EXCELLENT, with windows everywhere, a wonderful patio, the pool area is very pretty, the pool was very clean and that area has amazing views, you can even see the Pacific Ocean from there (the beaches-Coronado is only a 20 minute drive away). Just 10 mins drive there is a grocery store. There's a pizza restaurant.
There are two main entrances to get to the area, I HIGHLY recommend you use the access from BEJUCO and not the one from EL VALLE. Both have excellent maintained roads, BUT the access from EL VALLE requires an SUV with 4x4 because there are MANY VERY STEEP HILLS. On the contrary if you access via BEJUCO you will have a less dramatic drive.
We loved the property & will definitely return, I have mentioned it to several friends who already plan to book it.
