Home is only minutes from downtown Columbus. All the essentials are provided such as sheets, blankets, towels, bath and shower toiletries and laundry supplies for your entire group. We do require that you have a place to keep your pet (i.e. dog crate, pet carrier, etc.) while you may be away from the house. We also need to know a few things about your pet (color, breed, weight, and age). Please let us know these details at booking time so that we are able to inform the community of your pet. Please note that guests are still responsible for picking up after their pet. Additional cleaning fees may be charged for pet messes left behind. *We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a startup supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc. so that upon check in you do not need to run to the store. If you are staying longer than a few days, you will need to purchase these items. Thank you! When booking, please let us know how many guests will be in your party as well as how many vehicles you will have on-site, as well as the nature of your visit. If your trip is more adventure focused, the home is located near Brown County State Park, Lake Monroe reservoir, and other local attractions. If you are going to be travelling around southern Indiana while in the area don't forget to visit some other well known attractions such as the French Lick Scenic Railway, West Baden Springs Hotel, Marengo Cave, and Clifty Falls Park in Madison. The Neighborhood: Quiet and clean neighborhood in Columbus Getting Around: We HIGHLY advise having a car if you stay with us, and we have off-street parking available for you. However, there is public transportation in Columbus and the bus does stop at the stop sign just in front of the home. Feel free to ask about distances, and we can let you know average drive times.
