About this house rental
Nothing's better than being on Lake George. Our Lake George house on desirable Assembly Point boasts amazing lake front property with access to a dock! This tastefully decorated two story home includes 2 bedrooms, a brand new fully appointed kitchen, two brand new bathrooms (1 full and one half), a dining area and a spacious new living room with vaulted ceilings. Enjoy the day on the lake, in the village (10 minutes away) or nearby Saratoga Racetrack (30 minutes away) and evenings on your front porch admiring the sunset over the Adirondacks. You'll find everything you need for a fabulous vacation, including sheets, towels, hair dryer, WiFi, a washing machine/dryer and AC. This lovely property provides the perfect base for your getaway. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

The house and location were both beautiful. The lake is gorgeous and we loved sitting out on the porch. Shame on me for not reading the reviews more closely— the bedrooms are upstairs but both bathrooms are downstairs. Not ideal for those who have to go in the middle of the night! Also, washing and drying the towels and sheets before leaving — we’ve never experienced that with any vacation rental in the past. I would say overall we enjoyed our stay very much but there are a couple of things that would make it even better — no laundry by the guests would be the one thing that could easily be changed.

Amazing location. Easy access for boat owners, with a reliable dock for tying up boats. Bottom floor of the house is very updated and comfortable. Top floor with bedrooms is slightly outdated but true to the listing. Property details state that there is a microwave. However, there is no microwave on premises. But not a big deal. There is a toaster oven and an oven that can be used to reheat things! And guests are responsible for washing and drying linen and towels at end of stay. Very much enjoyed the stay. Host was very responsive.

This is a great little cabin right next to Lake George. Exactly what you want for a quiet weekend away from the city. You are next to the owner's house but it feels very much like your own place amongst the trees and steps from the lake. The house is well-equipped, and there is a beautiful porch where you can have coffee or meals outside. It's also only about 15 minutes from town but has the benefit of being much quieter. The host was friendly and helpful too. Be mindful that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathrooms are downstairs, so if you end up needing the bathroom at night you will have to find your way down the stairs. Lastly, the house rules ask for clean, dry sheets and towels so make sure you budget time to do laundry before checking out. Overall though, definitely recommended.
