Situated in Glossop, this lovely house for $445 per night is a great choice for your next break. Moor View, Glossop, Derbyshire, sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. Moor View consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, dining space, and sitting area with Smart TV, utility with washing machine. The bedrooms include a king-size with TV, king-size, and a double with en-suite shower room. Outside there is a summer house with kitchen, dining table, dishwasher and fridge, lawn, patio, barbecue, and furniture, plus off-road parking for three cars. Within 0.7 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub, and please note this is a smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Make an opulent getaway with a stay at Moor View. Note: Three steps up to sunken bath in the first-floor bathroom. Amenities: Electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, fridge, wine cooler, 1 x dishwashers, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine, kettle. 5 x Smart TVs, 80 inch TV in main lounge area. Fibre-WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Designated parking for up to 3 cars. Enclosed multi-level garden with lawn, patio, oak lodge summer house with bifold doors, furniture, and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs, to be kept downstairs. GAS BBQ Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.7 miles, pub 0.4 miles. Note: Three steps up to sunken bath in the first-floor bathroom Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: The bustling, former mill town of Glossop sits in the north west of Derbyshire, surrounded by magnificent scenery in the Peak District. The town has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a golf course with a pay-per-play scheme. Nearby, Manor Park was once the grounds of Glossop Hall, which belonged to the Dukes of Norfolk. Today it provides a wonderful spot for a picnic in the summer, with bowling greens, a semi-natural woodland, a children’s play area and tennis courts. The town of Glossop is also ideally situated for exploring the nearby Peak District National Park, with many attractions for walkers, cyclists and tourists. These include the peaceful village of Hayfield, less than five miles away and popular with walkers due its close proximity to Kinder Scout. A little further afield, Edale is the start of the Pennine Way and also caters well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. As well as its magnificent scenery, the Peak District has many other attractive places to visit, including Chatsworth House, the spa town of Buxton and its majestic gardens and architecture. Visit the famous Blue John show caves at Castleton, the mining museum at Matlock and the Derwent Valley reservoirs, where The Dambusters practised low-level flying in World War II. 15 miles away, only half an hour by train, is Manchester with all its big city amenities and attractions. Here, you will find the United and City football stadiums, an abundance of high street and boutique shops, theatres, restaurants, a concert hall and a vibrant night life. With so much to see, do and visit in the surrounding area, you are sure of a fun-filled holiday!
