A very nice pub/Hotel, plenty of parking, bar, restaurant, conservatory restaurant area, lovely garden. Bedrooms are very nicely decorated, but are very small, although they do have comfortable beds, air conditioning, a small wardrobe, coffee machine & the shower room was very nice. Breakfast was very good, lots of different choices, waitress service not buffet style.
Tables in the restaurant area are very close to others & the tables for 2ppl are far too small. Also some of the food wasn’t great, on our first night the triple cooked chips were so overcooked they were inedible & the battered haddock was very overcooked too. The food we had on a different evening was very good, especially the Jerk Chicken Skewers.

Situated in a lovely village. Staff very polite and friendly.
The room was incredibly small with a pocket door cupboard bathroom. All was clean and very pleasant but for £269 for one night it was very expensive and overpriced. £160 was a more suitable price for 1 night B&B in September. Our room was over the kitchen. Noisy in the evening and if we wanted to sleep by 10 or 11pm we would have been kept awake for a long time. Glass was thrown into bins late outside the bedroom window but most importantly was the smell of ‘oil’ cooking throughout the night. It just permeated the room. I don’t want to sound too critical as it was a lovely place it was just very overpriced for a pub with rooms above. I noted that the prices change on every date, which is obviously dependent on events etc in the area which is pretty poor.
