Lovely Apartment but Not Ready for Rental
The Host's Daughter Linda was very sweet, and tried her best to make things right, but unfortunately this apartment is not ready for rental. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has many luxury mod cons, but I didn't get the pleasure in using any of it, due to it not working, WIFI issues or just not user friendly.
Location: in the middle of nowhere, not a single shop for 4km's either direction. It's on a construction site, workman onsite from 7am shouting at the top of their voices and machinery noise all day long.
Security & Privacy: 2 people walked into the apartment, people I had never met, with their own keys at 07h30, not once but twice! Didn't speak English, just came in and did what they needed to do and left, and I was in bed at the time!
Connectivity: WIFI was off for 2 out of 4 days
Utilities: Hot Water was off for 24hrs
TV : Nice big TV, however I couldn't switch channels, so left with only Tennis to watch!
Cleanliness: Bins in kitchen and bathroom were half filled when I arrived, cold pizza was left in the microwave.
2 out of the 3 bedrooms were filled with owners personal items
Cupboards will all filled with owners personal possessions such as clothes, shoes & toiletries.
Overall the apartment could be wonderful, but it's not ready to be rented out, due to it being on a construction site, utilities and connectivity should be working and the apartment should be emptied off all private possessions. Let's not forget that when you rent out a property, you should be entitled to security and privacy, nobody should enter without the tenants agreement!
