Cool modern design, quiet location, dark room perfect to sleep in
The bed was a bit uncomfortable to get into as it it’s similar to a bunk bed so you have to climb into it.

Really cool concept for rooms. I really loved it. Very comfortable.
One day I needed a clean towel and there was none in the property.

Good location. Easy transport to Zuid. A bit of walking via a VU campus. Single rooms, private bath. Quiet. Interesting interior design. Safe.
Upper beds are too high, not very clean, windows if any, do not open, only for lighting. Construction on site (you only get notified after you book it)

A huge advantage was the free parking, which saved us from extra costs and hassle. Also, the reception staff was extremely kind, nice, and welcoming.
The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on Booking, which were probably taken when it first opened, and they do not update their information. The room door did not close properly, leaving a gap the size of a finger between the door and the frame, so we could hear everything from the hallway. The shower was full of limescale, and the bathroom fan ran all night long. Furthermore, room cleaning is only done if you explicitly request it; otherwise, you get absolutely nothing. To make things worse, the parking lot looked terribly unkempt and full of weeds. There was even a car in the parking lot with people playing loud music and throwing a barbecue, and no action was taken. On top of the parking party, a building is being demolished very close to the hotel, and the construction workers start at 4:00 AM. If you want a relaxing holiday, avoid this hotel!

"A masterclass of design and fuctionality, this is a superb hotel in every respect.
I cannot find fault with anything apart from the bedroom chairs, which while stylish, had wirework backs which made..."
