Convenient, clean, comfortable for a short weekend stay

Needs a little bit of redecorating in parts no views, but not really booking this apartment to sit on the balcony

The property was in a great location in relation to the strip and the beach- only a 5/10 minute walk to the beach and less than 5 to the bottom of the strip.

Upon arrival at the given check in time, we were told at the door that they were still cleaning- to leave our bags and come back in an hour. When we returned, they were still finishing up their cleaning. And then, throughout the week it was evident that the floor hadn’t been mopped properly as our feet were coming up dirty throughout the day. The bed frame was also cracked upon arrival, and caved in when one of us sat on it, so for the first night only one person could sleep on the unbroken side of the bed, and the other on the sofa. The staff did come the next day and remove the bed frame, so the mattress was on the floor for the remainder of the stay, even though they said they would come around again with a new bed frame. Upon leaving, we accidentally checked out an hour late (this was my fault as I hadn’t double checked the time, but I did apologise). A staff member came to the door, and even after my apologies, continued to be rude. We were out the door in the next ten minutes. She accused us immediately of ‘already breaking the bed,’ which we hadn’t done. She then proceeded to practically chase us around the apartment repeating ‘get out’. She also complained to us about the ‘state of the place’ which we had cleaned before departure- brushing up, cleaning work benches, removing the used bed linens etc. She complained at us to take out the bins (which we had planned to do anyway). Then, as we were standing outside with our bags, she berated us for the ‘disgraceful way we treated the house,’ and calling us ‘silly girls.’ I found this highly rude and disrespectful. She was also rude about the fire extinguisher that had been set off, which I was going to mention to her and pay her for, but had forgotten to do so in the commotion of our departure. She demanded €80 in cash there and then. I believe we wouldn’t have been treated this way if we weren’t a group of young women travelling, and was really let down at the end of a great stay by one of the staff.
