The Nine Mirissa

Just back from a few nights at The Nine and it was a truly amazing stay from start to end and a real bit of luxury to round off our trip to Sri Lanka. The property is stunning with a fabulous pool and wonderful views. The staff are also very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Special shout-out to Chandana (the chef) for the most delicious breakfasts and wonderful Sri Lankan curry at night - you must stay for dinner at night! The owner was also there with his family and also went out of his way to make sure we were very well looked after. As the hotel is boutique, you truly get the 5* service you don’t get at bigger resorts. Our room was clean with a beautiful view/ I am ever back in Mirissa I will definitely be back!!

No faults. Main town is about a 10 min walk which was fine for us.

The location and greenery so out of this world And there were monkeys in our terrace every morning Our child couldn’t be more thrilled

They don’t mention anywhere the amount of stairs you need to climb and we had a pregnant women and a child we should’ve had some heads up Also the food took forever to be prepared and most of options were not available

Everything! The aesthetic stands out first but when you go in and meet the staff. They are genuinely great. The facilities are spot on, from heavy kettlebells to board games and a lovely pool. The rooms have a unique charm and are frequently turned over by very attentive staff.

The staff were very attentive and helpful if I had any questions around the area and any requests I had were gladly met. They just wanted to ensure we had the best time possible.
