The location was ideal. It is in the heart of Cavtat, literally a few steps from the sea, and with bakeries, shops and restaurants all within a few steps. Also, the dock for boat trips and ferries to Dubrovnik was only a couple of minutes walk away. However, it was well soundproofed so we were not disturbed by noise.
We found Cavtat to be an ideal base. It is 10 minutes drive from the airport, and Dubrovnik is easily reached by ferry or bus. Within a short walk there are many places to sit on rocks by the sea, for a read or a swim, and plenty of good options if you prefer a beach or a sunbed.
The apartment is very well-designed and well-equipped, with high quality fittings. There are sea glimpses from the bedroom window.
For two of us, it was perfect, with a decent-sized bedroom and adequate sitting and kitchen space. There is a small outside terrace which was quite well shaded, and we found it very pleasant for breakfast and for evening drinks.
Our hostess was friendly, quick to respond to messages, and was kind enough to meet us at the bus station on the evening we arrived, despite having to wait a while due to our travel delays.
For more than two people, the apartment would be adequate, but not huge. I think the sofa bed would need folded away each morning to make best use of the space.

Amazing stay. Great host.
Location was perfect-close to restaurants and harbour with great sunbathing options.
Garbage containers was a bit far way but not a big problem.
