These are comfortable and conveniently located apartments. As we were not familiar with Dresden’s local culture and subculture before our trip, the appearance of the surrounding buildings came as quite a surprise to us. The buildings in the area are covered with layer upon layer of graffiti, which was certainly not what we expected to see. However, we later realised that this is very much part of the character of Dresden’s Neustadt, a well-known alternative and creative district with a strong street-art culture. Despite the somewhat unusual exterior, the apartment itself was surprisingly quiet. There is also access via the staircase to a pleasant inner courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue area. For a longer trip, having a washing machine in the apartment was very convenient.

The only thing we missed was a folding drying rack for guests to use. There are washing lines in the courtyard, but we felt a little awkward using them, and the weather was rather rainy during our stay anyway. We only discovered the communal laundry/drying room on the day of our departure, so unfortunately we did not get a chance to make use of it.

The location made it easy to get around by trains, buses, or trams. The apartment was very comfortable. The bedroom had a nice sofa and Tv. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the shower had great water pressure. The kitchen was also very nice. I loved the balcony overlooking the garden. I was there for 10 days and enjoyed it. The Lidl grocery store was just a short walk up the street and there is a fantastic Doner place nearby.

The area looked a bit rough with all the graffiti but I never felt unsafe. I wish there were some coffee pouches to use with the coffee maker. The biggest issue was the host came into the apartment while I was there. I had paid extra for one night to have my boyfriend stay (just for one night). Two days later, the doorbell buzzer kept ringing on the phone. I didn’t answer it since I was a solo female. I never open the door when I have no clue who is on the other side. I also don’t speak German. A minute later, I hear the key in the lock and the host walks in. I was in shock! He never communicated thru WhatsApp or thru Booking.com that he needed to come in. Booking.com clearly states not to communicate outside of Booking.com or WhatsApp. It scared the heck out of me. Since I had checked in without seeing the owner, I didn’t know who just walked in. He said he was there to pick up the extra sheet? He needed to make a trip to pick up a sheet? Anyway…the apartment was pleasant but if you are a single woman traveler, you may want to be aware.

Ca 10 Geinuten vom Bahnhof Dresden-Neustadt entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Nachbarn sind pünktlich zur Ruhezeit leise. Sehr unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist alles da, was man braucht. Bei mehr als einer Woche würde ich mir mehr Küchenutensilien wie ein kleines Schneidebrett und eine Salatschüssel wünschen.

El apartamento Según ellos que es una vivienda. Te lo ofrecen con Parking luego resulta que te dice que es la calle, donde tienes que dejar el coche. y que siempre hay plaza. Resulta la las calles de la zona tienen un aspecto deplorable llenas de Pintada. Tuve que dejar el coche en la C/ con miedo de lo que sucediera y el apartamento lrjos del centro. Si se la verdad nunca hubiera alquilado ese piso. Vamos que tres días pendientes del Coche. Cuando se ofrece una cosa se da de lo contrario es engañar a la gente
