I stumbled across this cabin in 2024 and loved it so much I rebooked for 2025, 4th of July weekend. I thought 2024 was great, but let me t tell you, 2025 was even better! One thing you should know about this property, it’s listed as 1 bathroom, WRONG! There are 2 bathroom on property! A second bathroom was added to the second floor, making this is SO convenient for your upstairs guests. In addition to the second bathroom, being added, there were a lot of upgrades done to the cabin, and a nice fresh coat of paint. Not only is the cabin spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped with everything that you need, it has access to the Cartecay River, and lastly very convenient to many activities. Lets keep it real, you’re far out from “town”, the Walmart is about 25-30 minutes away, but, there’s a Dollar General about 10 minutes away, and carries pretty much everything you need, or it’s simply super convenient for that, “ oh crap I can’t believe I forgot that”, item. There’s lots to do in the area, all within 25 minutes of the cabin you have, Amicalola Falls, Cartecay Vineyard, Reece’s Orchard, Downtown Ellijay, Tumbling Waters Trail, The Sasquatch Experience/Museum, and about 10-15 minutes you have Cartecay River Experience, and R &A Orchard. The furthest we went was about 45 minutes to Gibbs Gardens, which was well quiet the drive. And lastly, Megan, she’s an amazing host. Very response leading up to your stay, and during. There was a storm that came through as we were driving in, knocked out the power, in a city girl and unsure if that was the norm, she responded quickly, assured me that it was, and that the power company gets the power back on very quickly, and it did. I arrived at 6:30, headed into town for dinner, was back by 9:30, power was already back on. I will definitely be back in 2026 staying at this cabin again! This cabin is my cabin of choice for my annual family trip.

EVERYTHING. A nice & quiet property. Megan is amazing! She answers any questions we had over the weekend. She is the sweetest. Already looking into booking in the Fall.
