Lovely and authentic property, lovingly and personally curated by the owners. We loved the little notes everywhere. Nice and cool outside and close to the Eifel National park for walks and swimming. Walks from doorstep also possible. Excellent communication with the owners - loved the welcome gifts too!

We loved our stay in Cherry Tree Cottage. It felt like staying in the countryside home of friends - with thoughtful touches and little notes throughout. We enjoyed the books, music, and space to relax - including the seating outside where we watched the local bat swooping at dusk. We had everything we needed to cook, including eggs and homemade jam gifted from the hosts. All in all, just a perfect place to really get away and slow down for a little while. Prachtig oud en authentiek huisje. Het was erg warm toen wij er waren maar door de dikke muren en kleine ramen bleef het, vooral beneden, heerlijk koel. Zo ook in de tuin onder de heerlijke kersenboom. Lekker bed, prima douche etc. Wij hebben hier 3 dagen heerlijk verbleven

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben eine gute Einführung in die Besonderheiten der Unterkunft bekommen (Heizen mit Brikettofen, Sonnenplatz für den Frühstückskaffee... ). Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, gemütlich und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Sie ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und für die Natur eingerichtet und dekoriert. Man merkt auch, dass die Gastgeber hier selbst Zeit verbringen, dadurch hat man sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Unser Highlight waren der Kamin und die vielen kleinen Notizen und Details die dafür gesorgt haben, dass kein Wunsch und keine Frage offen geblieben sind.
Ab Herbst sollte man auf jeden Fall Hausschuhe oder dicke Socken mitbringen, sonst gibt es kalte Füße. Mit Spinnen sollte man keine Probleme haben, denn die gehören zu einem solchen Haus dazu.
