The cottage was lovely. The beds were clean and very comfortable.The location was perfect. Parking was easy enough on a nearby street. The cottage was very warm and cosy.
There was no information on what to do with recycling. We brought all our food waste and paper and plastic home with us. We only left bottles as we had no room to take them
The TV volume was fixed at 48!!! We could not adjust it. We ended up listening through a portable speaker that I took to listen to music.
The shower was good but a shower mat would be a very good idea as it was very slippery. Although the beds, sinks and toilet were very clean there were cobwebs on the living room and kitchen ceilings.The back of the bed in the large bedroom was very dusty and dust was seen on the TV screen and wood burner.

Very comfy beds
The worlds smallest frying pan meant I could only do 1 bacon cob at a time! There were a lot of cobwebs that had been there for a while. We arrived late and there was no wood provided for the log burner.

The property was stunning. Clean everything you could have wanted and so comfortable but sadly I wouldn’t book there again because of the parking problems .
Parking was impossible. The road is so narrow and despite there being some spaces on the road further up the hill on the one occasion I did park there someone hit my car.
Whilst trying to unpack my pack in a place that was not causing an obstruction and I have a disabled badge I was left a very rude note on my vehicle. The nearest car park which isn’t far but far enough if you have mobility issues is max 2 hour stay , 3 with a blue badge and the long stay car park is just too far when you’re not as mobile as you’d like to be. The hill from the short car park is quite steep with suitcases hence parking on the road but the rude and nasty note left and now a damaged car sadly means I wouldn’t book there again which is a shame because it is stunning .
