The villa is in a beautiful location, with amazing views from the swimming pool area. The sunsets in the evenings are absolutely lovely.
The villa is very spacious, with three bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room, making it a great option for families.
The kitchen is well equipped for preparing breakfast and simple meals. We didn’t cook during our stay, so I can’t comment on the full range of cooking equipment, but there is a toaster, coffee maker and kettle. There is also a BBQ with a few basic tools available. We used it one evening and really enjoyed it.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with wardrobes in every room. The master bedroom also has a very large bed.
Private parking is definitely a big plus. The only thing to keep in mind is that the parking area is quite tight and steep, so it may take a little practice to manoeuvre the car.
Although the villa has many positives, it would benefit from some renovation and maintenance. We noticed a smell of damp and some mould, particularly in the kitchen. We opened the windows and cabinets to ventilate the rooms, which helped somewhat.
The bathrooms are functional, although they are showing their age. Sink seems to be a bit blocked, shower full of scale. We also found some bugs in a wardrobe in one of the bedrooms, so we chose not to use it.
One sliding doors were difficult to close properly, and we were not entirely sure whether they locked. Some slates around the swimming pool on the decking area were also loose, so a little extra care was needed when walking around the pool.
The water in the pool was a little chilly, but I guess that's due to the location, as the villa is quite high up and you get a bit more clouds there from the mountains than lower located Calheta.

Late check in 4 pm and early check out 9 am it’s very confusing then your flight is in the evening, dirty towels, moldy corners in bathroom, very dirty shower curtain, leaking water in the shower makes the floor very slippery after showering. Very damp you can smell it in all the rooms even in the kitchen cupboard and wardrobes. In the terrace area there are some floorboards that are loose.

Dobre wyposażenie domu, duża ilość miejsca i przede wszystkim taras z basen i miejscem do grilla.
Woda podgrzewana jest przez panele solarne a jak my byliśmy w Marcu to przez pierwsze dwa dni było dosyć pochmurnie i zimno więc woda była bardzo letnia- ale do przeżycia :) zgłosiliśmy to personelowi i odrazu dostaliśmy odpowiedź.
