We had a wonderful stay at Groomscott. This charming stone cottage, originally an ex-miners’ house, is set in a very convenient location and provided everything we needed for a comfortable break.
The property was comfortable, practical, and well-equipped. It had everything we could have asked for, and we quickly felt right at home.
The host was very thoughtful and kindly left a bottle of wine, milk, and juice for our arrival, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after our journey.
Another big plus was that the property is dog-friendly, making it perfect for those travelling with their four-legged family members.
Overall, Groomscott is a warm, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay. We would happily return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy home-from-home in a great location.
The television was a little small, the only reason I noticed is we were watching g the football. Otherwise not really an issue, as we did not come to watch tv.
