Great location just a short walk into town. Comms were very good leading up to and during the visit. Key code access worked fine for us. The room was clean and stylish and had everything we needed including coffee bags which were a nice touch. Very quiet (we were at the back of the house on the first floor) and felt safe and welcoming. Lack of parking not great but I imagine it's the same everywhere in Winchester and we used YourParkingSpace (app) which was cheaper than local car parks and not too bad a walk. Would stay here again.
Only small niggles were that one side of the bed didn't have a bedside table or light/switch. Also the mattress a bit on the soft side for us but I imagine it's hard to please everyone in this regard. Still had a great night's sleep though.

The location was excellent - just 8 minute walk to centre. Quiet and safe.
When I needed to contact hosts to resolve small problem, quite late 10pm - picked up and easily resolved.
Convenient walk to restaurants, train station and centre re cathedral etc

Great location - near to centre of the city. Whilst it was located on a main road, it was quiet during the evening/overnight and there was no noise heard from the other rooms in the building. The property had a shared kitchen area on the ground floor, including a microwave and sink as well as cutlery, which was useful. The room was simple, but very clean. It had a comfortable bed and plenty of room for hanging/storing clothing.I appreciated having a kettle and tea/coffee-making facilities in the bedroom too.
Given it is close to the city centre, car parking is away from the property and needs some careful thought/consideration as a guest staying here.
The access to the main building was via a digital/keyless number pad, which was unreliable & didn't work very well for me. I had a long delay accessing the property on my last day which made things very frustrating. However, I did appreciate the host (Matt) coming out promptly and in person to enable me to eventually gain access, which was friendly & helpful.

Very convenient location for me - right next to my friend’s house. So I was able to come and go easily and conveniently. I was able to access my accommodation easily and although the accommodation was a little tired it was very clean. I think you would be a little disappointed if you wanted to stay with children or for a lot longer than one or two nights but I didn’t see the other accommodation and upstairs may have been better. The bed was very comfy and the linen crisp and fresh.
I was in room 1 , which is next to the kitchen, and I found the cooking smell somewhat off-putting- I don’t know whether someone had literally just finished cooking something spicy when I walked in as there was a small group in the kitchen but it didn’t make a great first impression and reminded me of living in a shared student house. I couldn’t get the television to work beyond the Netflix loading page.
