The location is okay, good for accessing the canyon. View from the balcony is beautiful. The place is reasonably comfortable and the kitchen is decently well equipped.
The place wasn't clean, we had to wash some dishes before using them, there were hairs in the bathroom sink and the bathroom had a very dank smell throughout the entire stay - we ended up leaving the window open the whole time - but worst was that we found black hairs of several sizes on the bed linens. The blanket on the bed clearly hadn't been washed and yet we were supposed to use it without a sheet in between. I found a spare sheet in the cupboard to use but it still felt a bit gross to sleep in knowing it wasn't clean.
As mentioned in other reviews it can be noisy at night, especially the dogs. It's an okay place to stay but definitely not a 9.5
