Accommodations that require unexpected effort and expense

It's a large house, like a private residence.

First, in addition to the amount prominently displayed on booking.com for accommodation, there was an additional amount I had to pay, and I ended up having to pay double the initial amount. Then, I received a message from the hotel owner asking me to send a €32 accommodation tax and a €200 deposit via PayPal. (This was written in a note, but it was in a very hard-to-find place and I didn't notice it.) I was told that there would be no fees if I sent the money via PayPal as a friend's account, but I couldn't set it up with (probably because I'm not a business account). There was a €13 fee, which I had to pay. Also, at the end of my stay, I was told to take my trash to the garbage collection point, but the place was very far away and closed even though it was within business hours, so I had to carry my trash few hours. It's like staying in someone's home, and various unexpected expenses can arise. Also, it's very far from town, and the road to the house is overgrown with weeds, making it difficult to get through unless you have a small car. And the inn owner always replies in German and refuses to speak in English. Using the translation function resulted in content that was very difficult to understand, which was also inconvenient.
