Die Tage bei Gustavo und seiner Familie waren für uns ein sehr authentisches Erlebnis auf unserer Reise im Amazonas. Es ist alles sehr einfach und man muss flexibel und offen für diese Erfahrung sein. Am meisten haben uns die Geschichten über Kultur und Natur gefallen, Gustavo bietet aber auch viele Aktivitäten im Dschungel an sowie drei Mahlzeiten. Wir empfehlen, das Nötigste mitzunehmen, da es vor Ort kaum Möglichkeit gibt, etwas zu kaufen. Wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wi

This is a true indigenous experience. This is not a hotel, which is its precise magic. Gustavo and his family and absolutely lovely, professional, attentive and knowledgeable. We returned after three days in Nariño to do some volunteering of our skills with teaching kids and building furniture. We cooked with teh family and simply hang out. Gustavo is a knowleageable guide for the jungle tour. He is amazing

Se cercate un'esperienza autentica nell'Amazzonia, questo è il posto giusto. Non si tratta del classico tour organizzato nella foresta con un programma rigido, ma di vivere la quotidianità della comunità, seguendone i ritmi e sentendosi parte di essa.
Gustavo si prende cura degli ospiti con attenzione, organizza ogni giornata in base alle condizioni del momento e vi porta a scoprire la foresta, il fiume e la vita locale con passione e rispetto. Si percepisce subito quanto tenga alla sua terra e a farla conoscere nel modo più autentico possibile.
L'accoglienza è incredibile: tutti sono gentili e sorridenti, dai bambini agli anziani della comunità, e ci si sente benvenuti fin dal primo momento. È un'esperienza davvero immersiva, che permette di conoscere uno stile di vita completamente diverso dal nostro.
Il cibo è semplice, come ci si aspetta in una comunità amazzonica: generalmente pollo o pesce accompagnati da riso, platano e altri prodotti locali. Tutto è preparato con cura ed è davvero buono.
Le notti nella foresta, i suoni della natura, gli spostamenti in barca e il contatto continuo con l'ambiente rendono questa esperienza unica. Se cercate comfort non è la scelta giusta; se invece volete vivere l'Amazzonia vera, conoscere persone meravigliose e portarvi a casa ricordi che difficilmente dimenticherete, la consiglio senza alcun dubbio.
La struttura è estremamente semplice e spartana: non ci sono veri e propri materassi, non c’è una doccia e ci si lava utilizzando recipienti e secchi d’acqua. Gli ambienti non sono particolarmente puliti secondo gli standard a cui siamo abituati e non bisogna aspettarsi comodità o comfort.
Non si viene qui per dormire bene o soggiornare in una struttura turistica, ma per vivere a stretto contatto con la comunità e con la natura. Bisogna essere pronti ad adattarsi, rinunciando per qualche giorno alle comodità quotidiane. Proprio questa essenzialità, però, rende l’esperienza autentica e completamente diversa da un normale viaggio organizzato. Anche l’organizzazione delle giornate è molto informale: non sempre esiste un programma preciso e le attività possono cambiare all’ultimo momento, anche senza che la variazione venga comunicata chiaramente in anticipo. È quindi necessario avere molta flessibilità e non aspettarsi gli orari, la puntualità o la pianificazione tipici di un tour.

Gustavo does a great job at showing people around, he’s helpful and has a very kind soul. He makes sure that you’re happy no matter what. This was a great experience. The food was solid and I am going home with many authentic memories such as: playing with his green parrots, 🦜 swimming with kids in the Amazon, being on a paddle boat with him and visiting remote villages. His knowledge about medical plants is outstanding. Highly recommend.
