What a charming chateau with a stunning view of The Loire. It is clearly loved by the family and they wish to share their passion for it. The floors and staircase, clearly of great age were polished and loved, the rooms furnished with collections of beautiful artefacts and artwork that has been built up over time. The newly built pool provided a refreshing dip before a short walk to some great little bistros for dinner. Breakfast was a stunning feast laid out in another beautiful room. Loved staying here.

Welcoming, clean, amazing breakfasts, and the 2 ladies really looked after us
No bar or food on site. When it’s very hot, the top floor bedrooms are nearly unbearable to sleep in.

Basic continental breakfast
Lovely old typical French house with decor to match. The trouble is that this is reflected in the room furniture with very old furniture on the verge of collapse. Very hot nights 'no sleep' with no aircon or fan facility. Apparently the staff had pinched the fan for use in the office.
