Schon bei unserer Ankunft sind wir von Giovanna herzlich empfangen worden. Giovanna und ihr Mann Giuseppe sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und um das Wohl ihrer Gäste besorgt. Es wird immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder irgendetwas fehlt. Aus früheren Bewertungen haben wir ja schon entnehmen können, dass das Frühstück aus abgepackten Brot, Zwieback und Croissants besteht. Das aber hat Giovannas selbst gebackener Kuchen wieder wett gemacht, mit dem sie uns fast täglich beglückt hat. Im Kühlschrank befinden sich auch Milch, Joghurt, Käse und gekochter Schinken und es wird alles nach Bedarf wieder aufgefüllt. Die Aussicht auf die Stadt und das herrliche Meer ist atemberaubend und die nahe Autobahn hört man zwar leicht rauschen, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Wir haben auch zweimal in Giovannas Homerestaurant zu Abend gegessen und sie hat uns, nach unseren persönlichen Wünschen, sehr lecker bekocht. Auch unsere kleine Hündin war dort sehr willkommen und hat sich auch sichtlich wohlgefühlt. Außerdem gibt es noch einen großen herrlichen Pool, welchen Giuseppe immer sauber hält. Rundum war es für uns ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!
Vielleicht könnten irgendwann ein paar Stühle und Liegen (im Garten) ausgetauscht werden, welche schon etwas älter und verwittert wirken. Das ist nur eine kleine Anmerkung ,denn alles war funktionsfähig und uneingeschränkt nutzbar.

We had a very nice stay at Villa Alma. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful — especially at sunset. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. They don’t speak English or German, but communication was never a problem as we simply used a translator.
A special mention goes to Giovanna, who is a wonderful cook. She surprised us several times with homemade cakes, and they were absolutely delicious! She was also very attentive throughout our stay and regularly checked whether we needed anything, which made us feel very welcome.
There is secure parking inside the property, which is locked at night, and the apartment has air conditioning, although we hardly needed to use it because it stayed pleasantly cool inside. The location worked very well for us. You do need a car to reach the beach, but that was no problem at all, and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car.
There is also a lovely pool, although we personally preferred spending our time at the sea. Our dogs were very welcome, which we really appreciated 🐾 There is a small cleaning fee in the end, but it is very reasonable.
Some parts of the apartment and bathroom are a little older in style, but everything was clean and functional.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the owners. The beautiful sea view, the spacious apartment and the warm welcome made Villa Alma a wonderful base for our holiday.

Giovanna e suo marito sono gentilissimi e super disponibili. La casa è bella, la piscina è stata graditissima dopo il lungo viaggio. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, noi e i nostri due pelosetti.
