Excellent and comfortable accommodation in a lovely village well placed for visiting National Trust properties and other historical sites.
The house is clean and well furnished decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and artwork which makes it feel like home.
James was friendly and very helpful about the local area.
A very enjoyable stay.
There was nothing we didn't like.
The road outside is busy in rush hour but there is double glazing which limits the noise.
The stairs are quite steep so might be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

The host who was very welcoming, generous, entertaining and communicative. It was a perfect location for us attending a wedding venue nearby. Comfortable beds. Parking was fine. Useful to have a grocery store within walking distance.
