I’ll start by giving everybody a warning about the self check-in. My husband and I had no issues checking into our room. We did have other guests asking us how to check in every time we went to our room this was especially annoying… because we are guest and not staff. They have the cleaning staff there from like 10-2, but you do have to request a cleaning of your room. They don’t do it automatically, and they only offer it every other day.
Aside from that the room was really nice. The shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. The location was ideal because you’re close to the boardwalk and you’re right next to a restaurant where you can get good pizza.
The only super annoying thing was the ice machine not working. We texted the help number and they gave us ice, but it did not get fixed while we were there. I think on the last day when I had pressed the button it was finally on. I wonder if it was because it was not like peak summer season but we were still going to the beach and would’ve appreciated ice for our mini cooler.
All in All I highly recommend staying here. It’s very cost-effective and a great location. We will be staying here again next year.

This motel is very nice. Check in/out and door access was all electronic, so that happened to be convenient for me. The room was updated and clean, and the space was perfect. We didn't find the bed to be comfortable, but for our 2 days stay, it was a minor issue. For us, it took a solid 15 minutes to walk to the beach/boardwalk and the delightful shops and cafes along the way give it a festive and energizing summer feel. It's a dog friendly town, which for me is a huge plus to meet and pet others' dogs! There was plenty to get into if you want to find activities in this small town, like church on the beach, exercise classes, free concerts on Saturday nights through Sept. For quiet times on the property, there is a sandy area with umbrellas, Adirondak chairs, and chaise lounges where you can read or sit in the shade/sun, which I loved when I was feeling introverted. I'll have to stay closer to the beach when I come back with my mother (mobility issues) but this was a very pleasant stay!

There is actually no staff at this property. They send a door code and text you everything you might need. Ice machine was not working at the time we were there. And the door to our room had a hole above the lock and you could see clearly into the hallway and hear everything that was said. Location is great though! And the room super clean.

Wonderful location! It took about 10 minutes to walk to the boardwalk and it is right next to some excellent restaurants and Dogfish Head Brewery. The only thing that would have made it better is if there was a microwave in the room. We knew there wasn’t one beforehand, so it wasn’t a surprise and would still stay here again without hesitation! Clean room and the check-in process was so easy and all through text. Will definitely stay here again!
