Clean space. Area was quiet. Everything two people need for a relaxing stay.

My husband and took a last minute weekend trip to Cumberland / Lavale area. We were lucky to find this last minute and it was perfect for our stay. It was exactly like the pictures (maybe even better) and communication with Allison was great. It is small, but the listing does say that. We noticed there wasn't a table and so we brought a card table with us which we used to play games and eat. We thought it was well stocked, extremely clean, and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool on a very hot weekend. We felt safe in the neighborhood and found it to be in a good location that gave us easy access to both Cumberland and Lavale. The only thing we didn't love was the parking situation. You park behind the cottage on a street and there aren't windows on that side so we couldn't see our car at all. Other than that one small thing, it was perfect and we would gladly stay here again if we are in the area.

A small, but very cozy cottage! Excellent for one person or for two people. About 6-7 minute drive away from Cumberland and about 15 minutes from Frostburg.

Property was clean and the kitchen was well-appointed.However, there was a lack of some basic necessities:1. Loveseat had no support and was really uncomfortable.( only place to sit)2. No reading lamps in the living or bedroom area.3. No place to put a cup/ drink while watching TV on the loveseat...no coffee or end table. Put my cup on the floor.4. No place to put my toiletries in the bathroom. Again, used the floor.The shower was clean, but very small.Would be tough for a large person.5. TV is based on one having their own apps. Could not watch basic TV, e.g., news and sports, as I have Netflix only.6. The deadbolt on the front door was difficult to lock from the inside...had to push with my shoulder to make it work.
