So. Of South Street X from parks like MSD Campus, 1910 Renovated Open-Plan. 2 Queen Bedrooms, 1 Queen double height air mattress, 1 XL sofa, 1 Folding Twin Cot. (The 3rd "bedroom" is the open space on the 2nd floor as pictured with a floral rug that accommodates a queen-sized, double-height top-quality air bed. This 3rd space is open, not walled in. ) Both bedrooms & open bed area have blackout shades and the bedrooms have drapery, too. TV in bedrooms and living room. EV charger upon request plugged into garage, shared with owner. The house is warm and inviting with an eclectic, open plan layout, renovated custom features throughout, an updated master bath with walk-in shower, on 1st floor a purple powder room with nature art motif, color, and artful textures and collections. Any real cook would be happy with the accouterment in the kitchen. Surface Finishes from metal flake black laminate to warm 19th-century wood furniture, Danish modern, grey linen sofa, bright oriental and floral rugs, sheepskins, handmade Amish quilts, Buddha, Goddesses, Marilyn Monroe, books, and fine Art. Board Games and Cards, LP and CD collection, Stereo in the living room. 57" flat screen with streaming. Spring & summer Outside- a large garden with Mother Nature's best array of wildflowers, lilies, perennials, sunflowers abound in season. Dining for 8 on the patio beside grill w/ iron chiminea, hammock & private seating area hidden by tall pampas grasses under a willow tree. 1000 sq. foot organic garden in back and side yard. (Some insects are to be expected. Mosquito lamps in both areas.) 3 seasons-Wonderful for evening soirees and small family parties. NO bachelor or bachelorette parties, no graduation parties. All seasons, a lovely view and walk of the MSD campus and Hessian Barracks X street, Carroll Creek, Mt. Olivet Cemetery 2 blocks away. Security cameras on the exterior of the house with a flood light on driveway. Corporate mid to long term bookings welcome . Please NO CONSTRUCTION WORK CREWS! Guest entrance is side porch door. Parking is easy-on street, Clarke Place, all week-long, no meters. Maximum 1 parking space in owner's lot next to the house. Owner retains the right to change parking availability based on her need to access garage. Please verify parking before arrival. Walking and biking to downtown is only a 5 minute trek and to Carroll Creek Linear Park, same. 10 minutes to downtown, Fairgrounds, Baker Park. 5-plus Breweries, McClintock Distillery, Idiom, Attaboy, Smoketown Breweries and Sky Stage, Delaplaine Center for the Arts, Hessian Barracks x Street, Mount Olivet Cemetery historic site all only a block away. Weinberg Arts corner of Patrick and Market 7 minute walk and Electric Bike rental 1 block north on S. Carroll St. Rent By the weekend or the week. Multiple-week & monthly stays preapproval required with ID. Additional cleaning fees /week will apply based on circumstances and pet fees. Pets are typically not encouraged but I will consider the situation and the dog. Small dogs with good manners- and a healthy bladder, no parasites or skin problems, please. NO PEE PAD-dependent animals). Please message me with a description and photo of the animal. The pet fee is per pet. There's an open-sided staircase to the 2nd floor and a knee wall on the 2nd so the falling risk is great... no toddlers or special needs guests, please. There is a park with a ball field, a swing set, and jungle gym, and a dog workout, half a block away. Owners' cats are housed in the studio basement isolated from the main house living space. The owner or cat sitter accesses the basement studio by a dedicated entrance from the backyard patio, NOT the shared interior of the house. The urban backyard veggie garden and back patio are dedicated for the owner's use. She does not mingle with guests or access guest quarters, . Guests have their own large dedicated side yard and patio area adorned with seasonal perennial flowers and herbs, a charcoal grill, seating area with a cast iron chiminea, and a dining table on patio with umbrella just steps outside of the kitchen door that seats 6/8. Full chef's kitchen, interior dining for 6/8.
