I like that the location is near food restaurant and middle of the city. Not too near but just right as it does not get really jam during weekend. Room is clean.
It would be great if they have a snack bar so that we could eat or snack on something at night or for light breakfast

Great location
Room fit for purpose
Staff are some of the best I have experienced anywhere in my half a century travels
Asked receptionist about eating particular meal, got up from chair walked me 150m to restaurant ordered my meal for me before leaving
I understand why this location has such a high rating
They also own Jonah hotel few doors up
It has a 9 rating
Has stairs but I am happy with these
If these are a problem you would stay next door for a little extra

Affordable and at the center city

The room was ok, had 2 wall sockets but only 1 worked, the other one, the plug kept falling out.
The room got cleaned whenever you requested it, I was here for 2 weeks and had no problem although I had to keep asking for TP. My fault for not getting it cleaned every day.
The staff were lovely, from check in to the cleaner, all were smiling and chatty.
There is a hot and cold water dispenser in the lounge area.

Good location, short walk to the mall and AC, I walked through every day.
10 minute walk to Jonker street/ Little India
Im afraid the room smelled badly of smoke, although it is a non smoking room, the lounge area allowed smoking and left the window open so it just blew straight into my room.
It is noisy, I know the hotel cant regulate the noise but a lot of traffic noise. Not to mention when it rains, I was in room 509 and above the window is a metal canopy, it is LOUD during the rain but afterwards the incessant dripping is a real comfort.
There is no extractor fan in the bathroom.
The WIFI is terrible, by far the worst I have had, I mentioned it to the staff and they said, yeah, sometimes it works sometimes not. I took my lap top to the local starbucks for the internet.
