The Kindest and most generous host Elli, we received Olive oil, wine and fruit as gifts, such a welcoming, personal and homely touch.
Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Comfortable pillows and good quality sheets.
Good kitchen inventory and many extra’s (condiments, toiletries etc)
Good working and silent airco on both floor levels.
Excellent water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water.
Amazing view from a great balcony. I enjoyed and appreciated many sunrises with coffee on there.
A very relaxed and peaceful location 1.5km outside the town of Lixouri, a rental car is definitely needed to discover and enjoy Kefalonia. I would not visit without one.
Apolafsi complex pool is nice for a dip and the restaurant is really good. Great food and service. We had dinner there twice. Highly recommend the prawn saganaki and sea bream.
The mattress on one of the beds (which looked new) was unfortunately very uncomfortable. The springs made it feel lumpy to lie on. The other mattress was ok. A good mattress topper would really make it better.

We loved this apartment! The terrace and its views were fantastic! Inside it was spotless with lots of functional as well as thoughtful and homey touches that made it a really pleasant place to stay. It was just outside of Lixouri centre which made it peaceful and it was a lovely walk into town along the water. If you go right, it's a 15 minute walk to a gorgeous little beach (with small cafe) - great for snorkelling and has a natural small pool for younger kids.
The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They'd left bits of food and water etc... ready for us. They made it clear which was their apartment and to knock any time we needed something, but then, other than kindly dropping in some ice cream for my kids, let us be (I was worried with hosts on site that it might not feel private but that wasn't the case at all.)
The pool was fabulous! And beautiful views again. It was perfect for kids as it had a deep end for jumping but a decent shallow end and baby pool.
I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.
The only slight thing for us was, as there was 3 of us, one of us was on the pull out bed in the lounge downstairs and it was very hard. I couldn't sleep on it. Luckily my daughter was ok on it though.

We love every single thing about this place from the location, the place itself the host, she is truly exceptional, kind, and accommodating. She gives us lots of treats the moment we arrive at the house, she provides all the things we need, and it's truly a vacation home far away from home. Thank you so much, Elia, you made me and my daughter's holiday truly memorable and your apartment is wonderful, breathtaking view from the terrace, spacious parking, closer to every important point, like the town, ferry boat, supermarket, and beaches,
