Militiko in Himarë is simply wonderful! It is run by a lovely couple whose hospitality truly stands out. The location is an absolute 10/10—just steps away from the beach and unbeatable if you are taking a boat tour, as departures from Spile Beach are literally a one-minute walk away.
Parking is convenient and well-managed; while the lot can get a bit tight during peak season, they always manage to find a spot and have helpful staff on hand to guide you in smoothly. We were especially thrilled and grateful for their exceptional service—even during the busy peak season, they graciously accommodated both our early check-in and late check-out. They also provide beach towels!
The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the well-equipped communal kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Despite our room being located right next to the kitchen, it was completely quiet with zero disturbance. Having stayed at a few different spots across South Albania, the air conditioning here was by far the most powerful and effective. Overall, an incredible stay and highly recommended!
My only nitpick is with the directions. The directions to the place were a bit confusing, so needed some time figuring out where the place was. I called them on WhatsApp and they immediately responded. But a sign board near Bocca Restaurant would be really useful.

This was a beautiful property with a lovely shared kitchen and social area. We loved the location. It was in the center of everything, but it was hidden so you didn’t feel or hear the busyness of the main area.
We were driving and the directions took us down some very tiny roads so that was a little stressful however, once we got there, there was plenty of room to park and it was a really cute area.

La ubicación es excelente, está al lado de todo caminando. decoración hermosa de piezas y espacios comunes., toallas y ropa de cama con olor exquisito. Buena disposición del personal. Cocina y espacios comunes bien organizados.
Cuesta un poco encontrar la entrada al parking pero con la ayuda del personal es más fácil. A mi me salieron a buscar

We really enjoyed our stay here! Militiko has a very unique, cute, and beautiful style, different from most places you can find in Himarë.
The staff was very kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, just less than a minute’s walk from the Himarë promenade.
The cleanliness was also amazing, everything was spotless and super fresh. Definitely a place I would recommend and come back to! 🤍
