My third stay at The Bath Rooms. Always a friendly welcome, and the rooms are lovely. As a solo female traveller, I feel very safe here. Great rosé in the bar too!!!

The location was great, just a very short walk from the railway station and a couple of minutes walk from the sea front. The room was nice and we loved the brekkie items, I don’t like big cooked breakfasts so these were perfect and meant we didn’t have to go for food first thing. The bar downstairs seemed nice and the bar staff were friendly. Would definitely use again if I was going to be in the area.
My one minor negative is that because check in wasn’t until 3 we had asked them in advance to see if we could leave our suitcases somewhere and were told we could leave them behind the bar. However when we turned up, the bar was closed and didn’t open until 3 anyway so I’m not sure why we weren’t just told no. As it was we had to go find somewhere nearby to sit for 3 hours which wasn’t the best start to our holiday. Next time I’d know to find somewhere else to store the suitcases if we were arriving before 3.
