We enjoyed this rustic, clean and quiet place with a beautiful view. Vogelzang is situated 5km from the De Mond Nature Reserve where you can experience the mouth of the Heuningnes river with exceptional birdlife. Our host Werner Visser was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. We prepared ourselves for a rustic cottage with no electricity (only gas and lamps) and were surprised by the fact that there was cellphone reception.

Extra-ordinary birdlife and peacefulness. Although there is no electricity the cottage has all you need for a happy stay. We just loved every minute of our stay annd will definitely be going back during a different season!
