Loved the serenity of the area with its spacious villa, pool and pool bar. Close to Lassi restaurants, bars and beaches. Host Alkistis and her husband were awesome and very attentive for a great experience.

Wi-Fi was sketchy but not 100% needed on a vacation to decompress.

Nuestra estancia ha sido estupenda y el alojamiento ha encajado perfectamente con lo que buscábamos para nuestros días en Cefalonia. Está situado a las afueras de Argostoli, a unos diez minutos en coche, algo que para nosotros ha sido una ventaja. Permite estar muy cerca de la ciudad y, al mismo tiempo, disfrutar de un entorno mucho más tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza y alejado del pequeño bullicio del centro. Aunque el aeropuerto está cerca, el ruido no nos ha resultado molesto. El establecimiento es amplio y está muy cuidado. Tiene unos jardines preciosos, una piscina magnífica y bastante espacio exterior, lo que hace que en todo momento resulte cómodo y agradable. Además, cuenta con una zona amplia de aparcamiento dentro del propio recinto, algo muy práctico en una isla en la que el coche es casi imprescindible para moverse. Las habitaciones son sencillas, cómodas y tienen todo lo necesario, incluida una buena cama y aire acondicionado. Nuestra idea durante el viaje era pasar el día recorriendo la isla, visitando playas y distintos rincones de Cefalonia, y volver al final de la tarde para descansar antes de salir a cenar a Argostoli. Para ese tipo de estancia, nos ha resultado perfecto. También queremos destacar que está regentado por una familia encantadora. Para nosotros es importante, siempre que podemos, alojarnos en pequeños negocios familiares y saber que nuestro dinero contribuye a que este tipo de establecimientos puedan seguir adelante. Y todavía más cuando están regentados con el cuidado, la dedicación y la calidad que se perciben aquí. El último día, además, la propietaria tuvo un detalle que agradecimos muchísimo. Como nuestro vuelo salía tarde, nos permitió quedarnos en el establecimiento y seguir disfrutando de la piscina, lo que nos permitió aprovechar de verdad nuestras últimas horas en la isla. Nos vamos con muy buen recuerdo del alojamiento y, si volvemos a Cefalonia, tenemos claro que volveríamos a quedarnos aquí.

The owner was immediately available whenever we needed to contact her, which we really appreciated. She was also kind enough to offer us fresh fruit from the garden, which was a lovely and thoughtful gesture. Beautiful garden! The pool was beautiful and pleasantly warm, although there were quite a few dead insects in the water when I used it. To be fair, this was about an hour before closing, so the time of day may have contributed to this. The location is convenient if you have a car: it is close to Makris Gialos Beach and around 15 minutes from Argostoli. However, there is essentially nothing within easy walking distance, so a car is a necessity. The road is also quite narrow despite being two-way, so extra caution is needed when driving.

The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. At least in Room 1, it was much smaller than we expected from the photos. The shower was extremely cramped and positioned very close to both the toilet and the sink, making the space uncomfortable to use. The Wi-Fi did not work at all during our entire four-night stay. The owner explained that this was an issue with the provider, but since Wi-Fi is listed as an amenity, we naturally expected it to be available. For a four-night stay at this price, we also expected at least one change of bed linen and replacement soaps/toiletries. The room was generally clean on arrival, although we found a piece of pasta underneath the kitchen cabinet and noticed several small black marks on the veranda. We were also told that insects are common because of the garden, but unfortunately there was no insect screen on the balcony door, making it difficult to air out the room without letting insects inside.
