Die Dachterasse und die happenings am Abend waren sensationell. Hostellife wie vor 20 Jahren! Zusammen essen und trinken & Spaß haben. Internationale nette Gäste, die Lust auf Real Life haben, sich unterhalten; kein Platz für Social Media time. 🙌
Das Mädelszimmer liegt direkt neben der Rezeption; daher war es manchmal etwas turbulent; gerne auch ab morgens ab 7.00 Uhr.

We stayed in the private room, it had a double bed air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower. We were very grateful for the aircon, I think the dorm rooms had fans.
It also had a little table and chairs outside on the balcony. The views were breathtaking and the atmosphere at the hostel was great. A simple continental breakfast included in the price every morning with croissants and coffee.
We loved that they had a roof top bar with great views and a happy hour. We also went on the boat trip they offer for €50 which took us all around the island. It was really fun and they provided a couple glasses of wine and some light lunch/ snacks.
The location is great, close to bus stops and shops in the centre of Forio, everything locally is walkable or using bus. They also offer scooter hire at the hostel.
They kindly kept our bags for us during the last day after check out. They also offer laundry and have a kitchen where you can store and cook food.
On a couple of occasions the hot water has run out so had to have ice showers. The curtains to the room were see through when the lights were on so we had to be in the dark/ hide behind the wardrobe door when dressing. The staff were super nice and friendly but when we asked for dinner recommendations they would only mention the one they have an affiliation with so was hard to get recommendations about Forio in general which is what we were hoping from when we booked a hostel vs hotel. The nearby church bell also rings from about 6:30 on a Sunday so be prepared for that!
A little bit more food on the boat trip would be great as you work up an appetite when swimming! Maybe some snorkels and floaters would be fun too.
