Great location in the La Manga Club resort, close to bars, supermarket etc. Downstairs (double) bedroom a good size with lots of hanging space and good aircon, with a bathroom next door. Nice terrace for eating outside, very close to a nice shared pool. Parking for 1 or more cars out front. Very clean. Good value for money.
Upstairs twin bedrooms quite small, share a more basic bathroom and no hanging space in one of them. Property had several light bulbs not working suggesting no on site checking or maintenance on a regular basis.
WiFi did not work: a handwritten password in the property handbook did not work (many permutations were tried in case we had mis-read the handwriting - to no avail). A message was left for the owners, on arrival, as soon as this issue was noted but no reply was received over the 4 days that we were in the property - data allowances were used up!
The communication problem also manifested in the run-up to our stay when, a week ahead, I messaged the owners to check that it would be OK to use all 3 bedrooms with 5 guests when we had initially only stated that 3 people would part-occupy the villa. The owners directed us to Booking.com who, in turn, said that the owners needed to approve this, and that they would message them; Booking.com received no answer from the owners so we tried the owners again - no reply. If you are letting your villa you need to be more responsive to legitimate communication attempts from guests.

It might be good to have some basic facilities to take to the beach such a foldable chairs & an umbrella as there are no seating or shade facilities at the beach

Location and pool
The safe for key wasn’t at property, the bathroom sink upstairs wouldn’t drain so the smell was really bad. I messaged the owner who suggested contacting the management company but we could get through to anyone.

Location was good.. lounge area was good. Pool was nice.
Very dated, dusty and dirty. Really old style curtains, tiles, bedding. Kitchen dated. Missing bulbs in many rooms, lamps not working. Such a shame, it really needed to be updated. Dirty old rusty BBQ on the terrace, no one would use it. No soap was provided to wash your hands when we arrived or when it was prepared. Just lacked any sort of home comforts or care.
