The host's culinary skills are the real value of this property. Breakfast was prepared each morning for us and included eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, freshly baked bread with local preserves and honey, freshly baked pastry and your preferred style of coffee. Dinner reservations were an option but unfortunately did not fit into our itinerary.
Our accommodations were spotless. Linen bedding was a treat and the air conditioning in the bedroom was comfortable. Free WiFi was available and parking was ample. Our room included a coffee maker and small refrigerator that was well stocked with reasonably priced beverages. Our bathroom had a large soaking tub with hand held shower. A hairdryer with diffuser was provided.
Because this is a small property, we had nearly exclusive use of the lovely pool, which had chaise chairs and sturdy umbrellas (towels and pool bag in the room).
We visited during early September hot spell when air conditioning was definitely needed. The bathroom is not air conditioned and there was no ventilation fan so the room was warm and humid compared to the adjacent air conditioned entry and bedroom. After bathing, it was very difficult to get my hair to dry and the room became too hot for applying make-up or dressing. Like most European accommodations, no washcloths are provided.
There is no potable water in the room so we were careful to use the carafe of drinking water supplied by the host when brushing our teeth.
Our room had a large armoire in the entry area with ample hangers but lacked drawers or shelves for folded clothing or undergarments.
