It's location and cleanliness.
Some neighbors speak and laugh loudly at midnight and disturbs sleeping, but staff can shut them down.

A very pleasant stay. The amenities are great, and the bed is comfortable.

Location was quite good.
10mins walk from East Nanjing Rd station.
Many restaurants, eateries along the way to the hostel.
15mins stroll to The Bund.
Like the common area which was brightly lit, spacious and welcoming, unlike the super-small bedroom
Booked a twin room which was very small & cramped.
Luggage need to go under the double deck bed or leave outside the room.
Impossible to have 2 occupants open their luggage at the same time.
Surprised no handwash liquid was provided. Needed to ask before reception brings in one
