Great place, honestly pretty much perfect! The apartment is huge and really spacious. Big plus for the fact that it literally had everything you could need – a washing machine, dishwasher (and importantly, detergent/tabs were provided), a big fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, clothes rack, and tons of other stuff. Really great layout with a separate toilet and bathroom, which has both a huge shower and a bathtub :). The bed was mega comfortable, I haven't slept this well while traveling in ages.
The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, total relaxation and polite people around. No stress with parking either – there are spots right in front of the building, and if they're full, there's more literally 50 meters away by the next block. Also, a large Tesco supermarket is really close by, which was super convenient. Plus, if you have a car, it's a perfect base for exploring all the most beautiful and interesting mountain ranges in Slovakia – Malá Fatra, Veľká Fatra, the Low Tatras, High Tatras, and the Choč Mountains. Communication with the host via Booking was great too – she gave us super clear and straightforward instructions on what to do, how, where, and when, so the check-in system was incredibly smooth and easy. Plus, it was sparkling clean, which isn't always a given with rentals. And the vibe – the poppy-themed decor creates a really cool atmosphere!
I've traveled quite a bit around Europe, but this is probably our favorite stay ever. We’ll definitely have great memories and will be recommending it to everyone. We’ll absolutely be back ourselves, as we visit Slovakia once a year, and this place was just a total home run.
If I really had to find a downside just for the sake of it (and I mean really stretch it), maybe the plate baskets in the dishwasher could be replaced, but honestly, it’s not a real issue at all.
