We had a great stay for our first trip to Port Douglas. Julian (Manager) was an excellent communicator and accommodated the drop-off of our bags before official check-in, since our flight landed earlier, which we really appreciated. The house and property were well presented and in a lovely, well-cared-for gated community. The house is massive, which gave our group of 12 plenty of space over the 8 nights we stayed. The pool, pool table, and bar were a huge hit. The beds were super comfy. It's a short walk to the beach and a 45-minute-or-so walk to the centre of town. We utilised SR Coaches' weekly pass to get around Port Douglas (they were fantastic), and we used Rogers Rides to transfer us to and from the Cairns airport (they were fantastic too).

The house was beautiful and gorgeous and accommodated our large family. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The styling being from South African was like being back home. We had such a wonder stay. Multiple living areas. The rooms were very clean and immaculate. The snooker table was a hit with both adults and children. Johnny was very responsive and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was extremely easy. The pool was bigger than we thought and also a great hit for afternoons. Lots of clean towels and pool towels. Location was very peaceful, secure and quiet. Appreciated the gated community and so close to 4 Mile beach and local shops. Highly recommended.
The main king size bed mattress was very soft and lumpy. It dipped in the middle and quite understandable that being the main bed, it was used constantly. Definitely would recommend a new mattress. The pillows were a little high especially for children.
