We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy, beautifully decorated and has a lovely modern yet homely feel. Everything was very clean, neat and thoughtfully put together, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The location is truly amazing. You are completely surrounded by nature, which makes the cottage feel wonderfully peaceful and private. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, so we spent most of our time outside enjoying the different seating areas around the property and the beautiful surroundings. For anyone who loves nature, this place is a dream.
A big plus was the air conditioning. It was wonderful to have somewhere cool to retreat to when it got too warm outside, and it also made the evenings and sleeping temperatures very comfortable.
Even when staying indoors, everything you could need is there. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the TV has all the options you need for streaming your own services.
The communication with the host was also excellent. Whenever we had a question, we received a response very quickly and always felt well taken care of.
Overall, this is a beautiful little cottage in an incredible setting, with lots of lovely spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We would absolutely recommend it, especially to anyone who loves nature, peace and a cozy place to stay. We would 100% come back!
Honestly, this was the only thing we found worth mentioning: the bed is quite soft, so it really depends on what you prefer. We also found the sofa a little less comfortable. We noticed that some of the other cottages seemed to have slightly more comfortable-looking sofas, although of course we didn’t sit on them, so we can’t say for sure.
Other than that, we genuinely had a wonderful stay and would 100% come back.

Adorámos a nossa estadia no Refúgio da Moleira. O espaço é lindo, tranquilo e perfeito para quem procura desligar da rotina e aproveitar uns dias em contacto com a natureza.
Viajámos com os nossos patudos e foi especialmente bonito vê-los aproveitar tanto o espaço e até perderem o medo da água durante estes dias. 🐾💦 Foram momentos que vamos guardar com muito carinho.
A casa é acolhedora, o espaço exterior envolvente é maravilhoso e a Cristina esteve sempre disponível e foi muito simpática connosco sempre que precisámos.
Saímos com vontade de ficar mais uns dias e, sem dúvida, é um lugar onde gostaríamos de voltar. ❤️
E deixámos ainda uma pequena “obra de arte” feita com as pedras do rio — cortesia do Bruno 😂🪨 Esperemos que sobreviva até à próxima visita!
Recomendamos muito para quem procura tranquilidade, natureza e uns dias diferentes longe da confusão. 🌿
