l'hotel è in una posizione strategica sulla baia di kontogialos, eccezionale, con splendido lido bar e ristorante. albergatori cordiali simpatici e infaticabili. decisamente il posto giusto per godersi la baia. stanze ben climatizzate e pulite. parcheggio custodito di giorno e di sera.
la sig.ra Heleni è premurosa gentile ed efficiente in un modo sorprendente. la salutiamo e la ringraziamo, cosi come ringraziamo suo marito e tutto lo staff, sempre precisi.
le cose che non ho apprezzato:
-ristorante caro, menu poco vario e Comunque non eccezionale.
-lettini a pagamento per gli ospiti dell'hotel (in grecia non mi era mai capitato), 20euro al giorno, alcuni ospiti dicono di aver avuto lo sconto in quanto clienti dell'albergo ma a noi è stato negato: poco male alla fine, ma mi ha sorpreso.
-non si tratta di una pecca della struttura o degli albergatori ma di una realtà geografica della baia di kontogialos: le strade per arrivarci e per muoversi da li sono al limite dell'impraticabile, pericolosissime, se piove resti bloccato giu e non puoi risalire senza fuoristrada, le pendenze e i tornanti ciechi a una corsia ma a doppio senso sono qualcosa di terribile (noi eravamo in moto). mi stupisce che non ci siano vittime quotidiane, evidentemente la fortuna aiuta gli audaci ;). molto isolato per via di queste difficoltà logistiche. secondo me raggiungere la baia di kontogialos non è per tutti i vacanzieri (neopatentati o gente poco avvezza alla guida in montagna potrebbe seriamente trovarsi in difficoltà). verò è che quando arrivi ti senti in paradiso e ciò ti ripaga di tutto.

Great accommodation with a sea view near the beach! Extremely clean, very comfy, and in a getaway location. It was very quiet at night, so the waves will tuck you into sleep. Located at one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the west side. Eleni, the host, was very welcoming, and helpful. I visit Corfu again, I have no doubts I will stay here again!

The property was in a nice beachfront location, so access to the beach was very easy.
The cleaning service was every 4 days. We stayed 3 nights and left on the 4th day, so our room wasn’t cleaned at all, which was a bit frustrating. The hotel provided 2 towels per person, but none for the bathroom sink use. There was no water in the mini fridge upon arrival, which would also be nice. At last, the was no light in the parking lots, so when you come back at night it is all dark, and you have to use your phone lighter to see the path to the rooms.

Location, location, location and staff were lovely. View over beach was fantastic
Room was small and bathroom very dated but everything worked. Unfortunately there wasn’t really any option to eat locally, apart from in the great Taverna at the rooms which closed early unless you have a car and are happy to brave the very steep and windy road down to the beach
