We stayed in the apartment at the back which was private and comfortable. We appreciated the space to spread out and the well equipped kitchen. The host was welcoming and checking was smooth - a great location to explore the Connemara region .
The mattresses on beds- particularly the smaller bedroom are collapsing and need replacing.

Maire is a lovely host, very welcoming & hospitable & helpful in guiding us to visit places of interest in the area. There are lots of little thoughtful touches in the apartment which is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is great for visiting spectacular coastline & beaches, Kylemore Abbey and the mountainous area of Connemara, all within easy driving distance. We loved it there.
The living area of the apartment does not have a lot of natural light. We were fortunate with good weather but wondered how we'd feel if we were trapped indoors on a really wet day. We did experience some 'neighbour noise' from the apartment next door which we know was unavoidable but it happened. We were glad to be at the back of the house in apartment 2 as we were away from passing traffic.
