Whether visiting for a quilting weekend, golf tournament, hunting, or just passing through--warm & cozy is how you'll feel from the minute you open the door of this welcoming cottage! Relax in the knotty pine-paneled, enclosed front porch complete with table for meals, games, or sewing machines OR back patio with a large charcoal grill, table and chairs with umbrella, and large fire pit area for those evenings when the skies are too clear to pass up. This cute 3-bedroom, 2-bath house with full kitchen, living room, washer/dryer and double carport is a few minutes walk from Dungy's grocery, Senor Barrigas Mexican restaurant, Casey's pizza and only a few more steps to the cafe, coffee shops and renowned Elbert's Department store on the historic Gallatin square. A short 15 minutes' drive away and you're visiting Jamesport's antique stores, and Amish community, or Adam-ondi-Ahman. And then there is Hamilton, complete with Missouri Star Quilt Factory and shops, J.C.Penney Museum, and Levi Garrison and Sons Brewery and Taproom. And, finally, golfers are less than a 3 minute drive to Daviess County Country Club, and 35 minutes from Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe, Riverside Country Club in Trenton, or Veteran's Memorial Golf Course in Cameron.

This place is great. It felt just like home. It had everything we needed. Be aware that only one bathroom has a shower, one bathroom is tub only. We would stay here again.

We loved staying at this property in Gallatin. We felt very comfortable and at home. The backyard was super fun with the grandkids. We will be back.
