About this house rental
Our centrally located home is the perfect spot for a family vacation, a girls weekend, fishing trip or just exploring the outdoors in this fantastic region. We recently added a new half bath to the home. Our home has a fully equipped kitchen, all bedding and towels are provided. There is a full size washer and dryer for you to use. We love this location, which is directly across from Lakeview Park, playground, and the beach area. You will be 1 mile from the Jet Express and all the shops, restaurants, and bars on and around Madison St. Be sure to check out Fisherman's Wharf, the Port Clinton Lighthouse, and take a walk along the Portage River. Remember, Port Clinton is THE Walleye capital of the world, so bring your boat, or get set up with a top quality charter nearby. A short drive will get you to Camp Perry, state parks and nature preserves, Liberty Aviation Museum, the drive thru African Safari Wildlife Park, Catawba Island, Miller's Ferry and the Marblehead Lighthouse. Take a day trip to Kelleys Island or South Bass Island and visit Put-In-Bay aka the Key West of the North. Cedar Point, Kalahari and Sandusky are about 20 miles away.

Carrie was an excellent host and very responsive throughout our stay. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. Everything was arranged perfectly, from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.
Our family had a wonderful time, and the home played a big part in making our trip enjoyable. Carrie went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and regularly checked in through messages to make sure everything was going well. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests were truly appreciated.
We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future.

We had the best time! This property was perfect for our family. The park across the street was paradise for our pups. They spent hours each day chasing squirrels. There is a crosswalk to Lake Erie where we watched the sunset each evening. We were close to everything. The property was very homey and had everything we needed. If we ever make it back up to Ohio, we will definitely stay here again.

The backyard was very private, quiet and comfortable. The park was literally across the street, and the lake just across from the park. A perfect location.The amenities were appreciated, and more than we expected. We loved the house and our stay. Steve & Cherie Watters
