The first room the TV didn’t work no sound the night clerk joyfully got us to another room, however an hour later went into bathroom and find water on the floor that was leaking from the light fixture in the ceiling. So moved to third room? Third room was ok, but on checkout we received no offer of any reduction of room cost, but did receive an apology. If you observe our records we have stayed in motels ten plus times over the last two years and this was the worst we have experienced for the price we paid.

The hotel overbooked the rooms so one of our group did not have a room available for them. Just while standing in the lobby, two different visitors had to be given different rooms because theirs were either not ready or had construction taking place. One visitor went through 4 different rooms before finally leaving. We left after watching this debacle and observing that the staff had no idea how to fix the situation.

Smoke detector hanging by wires, sprinkler head covered w/ tape and paint, brown rusty water from the tap, none of the exterior "guest key" doors work, pool closed for over a year, VERY thin walls/doors so you hear everything in the hallway, trash all around the exterior.

The room itself was good enough (clean with a working fridge, TV, etc.). However the check-in experience was not ideal. Many other guests had issues with their rooms (construction lumber in their room, rooms not ready despite being after check-in time). Also, the lobby was very chaotic; there was a man sitting on the couch holding an unlit cigarette with no shoes on, dogs on leashes walked through the lobby huffing and puffing, the hotel staff seemed frazzled with each other that some rooms weren't ready yet, and one of the guests wanted a refund but couldn't get it because they booked through a third party (like hotels.com)
