Our stay at NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE was very special. A two bedroom property, we felt lucky to have booked a room for a night along the Kumano Kodo trail. Arriving here in the afternoon, and having a welcome drink in the beer garden was the perfect introduction.
We opted to book the dinner based on the reviews, and it was such a memorable and delicious experience. A 7 course meal, with food grown in their garden that is all made in-house. It was delicious and we very happy to eat so well at an inn, let alone one along a hiking trail! The included breakfast was also thoughtfully prepared and kept up our energy for another day of hiking.
The staff are very kind and happy people - welcoming and nice to talk to. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

The property was well located on the Kumano Kodo track with a lovely beer garden to relax in after a long day walking.

Hitomi and Jamie are so helpful and communicative, we reached very late at 7pm but then when we reached the place, everything feel at ease. The house is so beautiful, the room and the bed is very comfortable. The best part is the food, i ate vegie focaccia and the home made ginger ale, it was so good
