La casa è molto carina, luminosa, le stanze spaziose anche se con arredi minimal. La cucina molto grande e ben rifornita di quanto necessario. La pulizia che abbiamo potuto riscontrare era molto accurata.

Un solo cuscino a testa e un solo asciugamano a testa senza avere la possibilità di accedere ad altro è stata una cosa che ha accomunato quasi tutti i posti della Normandia in cui siamo stati e che decisamente non abbiamo gradito. E' stato anche fonte di grande stress proprio alla vigilia della partenza e il giorno stesso dell'arrivo un odioso tira e molla con il proprietario che pretendeva un deposito cauzionale doppio rispetto a quello previsto su booking e con una modalità diversa. Avere 1.000 € bloccati sulla carta per più giorni invece dei 500 € cash previsti da dare al check in e riavere al check out non è proprio la stessa cosa. Abbiamo dovuto con insistenza fare intervenire booking per risolvere la questione e fino a poche ore dall'arrivo in loco non sapevamo se ci avrebbero permesso o meno di alloggiare nella struttura. Altra nota negativa di cui non eravamo stati informati (ma il giorno del nostro rientro verso l'aereoporto siamo ripassati davanti alla casa e i lavori volgevano al termine, quindi questa nota è solo per dire che potevamo essere avvisati) è che sulla strada con l'accesso principale stavano rifacendo il manto stradale per cui l'accesso non era possibile e dalla strada che passa sul retro si doveva percorrere una scala stretta, con la recinzione a punte vive arrugginite che hanno graffiato una mia amica e a me strappato la maglietta e al buio. Questo non è stasto il massimo. Come neanche essere svegliati alle 8 in punto da vibrazioni tipo terremoto di grado altissimo. Abbiamo capito come mai su alcuni comodini fossero presenti i tappi per le orecchie. Ma, ripeto, siamo stati sfortunati ma credo che questo problema non ci sia piu'

The villa is in a residential area just a few minutes by car from the Seine and the centre of Vernon. Giverny is maybe 10 minutes. The villa is set back from the road with private secure parking for at least two cars. On road parking is possible at along a quiet road behind the villa with private access via steps to the side of the property. This was very convenient. The ground floor spacious kitchen is well equipped and a convivial social space featuring an "island" with seating for 8 people. The ground floor also has a large double bedroom opposite a large shower room and separate wc. The spacious lounge/dining room on the first floor is comfortable with quality furnishings and a large smart tv with web services - Netflix, you tube etc. The lounge provides access to an elevated private terrace to the side of the house with outdoor dining furniture. There are two more bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. We used the large double which was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels. Bathroom toiletries are not provided. All windows in the villa, except the kitchen, have electrically operated roller shutters which are easy to operate and provide a high level of privacy and security. Hot water was constantly available for the kitchen and bathrooms.

Maybe pay a little more attention to the garden. Monet's garden is serious competition hahaha.

Une maison fonctionnelle et adaptée à notre groupe de cyclistes : on peut garer deux voitures et mettre des vélos sans problème à l'intérieur. La maison était très propre et chacun avait un espace privatif. Bien situé pour rayonner sur le secteur de Giverny. Hôte réactif et très professionnel.

Quelques finitions à revoir et une chambre côté rue assez bruyante.

Le village est agréable et la maison est facile à trouver. On peut aisément stationner les voitures. La maison est grande, avec plusieurs salles de bain et deux grandes pièces agréables (cuisine et salle à manger)

Le jacuzzi est en fait un petit bassin placé sur une terrasse sombre et peu agréable. La vaisselle dans la cuisine est en en nombre insuffisant. La déco est assez quelconque. Pour ce prix, on pourrait s'attendre à un lieu avec plus de charme.
