The property was in a great location outside the Reykjavik city center. To get to Reykjavik it was a short drive (or I think you could also take the #1 bus). Loved that it was across from 2 grocery stores (Bonus and Kronan), a liquor store and fish market shop. There is also a number of clothing and other similar shops in walking distance. The owner left us plenty of coffee and all the necessities for our stay (shampoo, soap, etc.). The bed was comfortable for a good night's rest and the place was clean. Also loved the free parking outside the building.
The room was a little warm and didn't have an air conditioner. It was fine if you turned on the fan and opened the window.
It might not suite a family because the studio was small and best for 2 people. There wasn't a view as the windows looked out to the adjacent rooftop building.

Das Zimmer ist wirklich schön hergerichtet und gut ausgestattet: es gab kaffeekapseln und sogar Milch dazu im Kühlschrank. Im Bad finden sich diverse Hygieneartikel, die man sonst nicht mal unbedingt im Hotel findet. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet.
Leider gibt es eben wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist nur die oben liegenden Fenster wovon lediglich eins zu öffnen ist - hier kommt nur sehr wenig frische Luft rein. Für 1-2 Nächte ist das ok, bei längeren Aufenthalten vermisst man den Blick raus.
Die Dunstabzugshaube saugt kaum etwas ab; in Kombination mit dem kleinen Fenster wird das Appartement beim kochen schnell „eingeräuchert“.
