The hotel has considerable heritage character, a remarkably spacious room for the price and pleasant, enthusiastic staff who genuinely tried to help. I particularly appreciated the peaceful terrace, the warm restaurant welcome, the trust shown when charges were placed on my room without unnecessary formality, and the invitation to visit the owners’ polo pony stud farm.
Breakfast was well below the standard the property should provide, with inexpensive sliced bread, jam sachets, poor-quality orange drink and limited presentation. The flooded entrance, late housekeeping, absence of a dressing gown, USB sockets and printed hotel information, together with inconsistent food and no evening turn-down service, also require attention.

De behulpzaamheid van het personeel
De ongezellige lounge, avonds niet kunnen eten in de buiten tuin, geen warme douche, slecht haperend wifi over het gehele terrein en ook op de kamer zelf. Los zittende lekkende kranen die de hele nacht door druppen. Veel lawaai op de kamer van buitenaf. De lounge was erg ongezellig qua sfeer doordat er geen sfeerverlichting was maar gewoon helder tl licht.
