We had a great stay at Ponte Plaza. The rooms were impeccably clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And the location is fantastic. A special shout out to Mihailo in the restaurant who was so kind and friendly and went over and above to be helpful. And to Darko and Boris on reception who also went over and above.
There are cafe bars on the beach that you can hear if your windows or door are open but they stop at 1am and the hotel is well sound proofed so if you shut the windows and door you can barely hear them.

AC created weird sounds after couple of hours of work at night so I had to open the balcony door, but the curtains are not blackout and the wind created noise

The location right by the sea is definitely one of the best things about this hotel. You only need to cross a pedestrian street to reach the beach. The breakfasts were good, and the terrace has a beautiful sea view with plenty of seating for everyone. The spa area is also very nice, with a lovely indoor pool. Although the pool is not very large, there was enough space in the evening and it never felt overcrowded.
There were quite a few things that could be improved. There were not enough sun loungers for all hotel guests, and sometimes we had to wait for beach towels as well. The beach coffee service also stops after 5 p.m., which was a little inconvenient. I was also surprised that there was no complimentary bottle of water in the room. For a four-star hotel, I would expect at least a bottle of water upon arrival — even some three-star hotels, such as ibis, provide this.
The reception was another issue. Whenever I tried to call, the line always seemed to be busy, so it was practically impossible to reach the reception by phone.
The carpet in our room was quite dirty and covered with visible stains, which was disappointing.
The parking was another drawback. Both the outdoor and indoor parking options are paid. I chose the indoor parking, but it was extremely hot and stuffy inside, with no proper ventilation, making it very uncomfortable even just to breathe. Getting into the garage was also quite difficult, and considering that guests have to pay extra for it, I expected much better conditions.
